I am a woman on the brink of…..something other than this! At 28, after spending the last 5 years as a recluse, I have re-joined the land of the living. I’ve taken up residence with two fabulous roomies just north of Seattle, and we’ve turned our condo into a veritable menagerie (5 bunnies and a cat). I’m about to join the corporate world of heels, suits and high-rises. I’m stepping outside my comfort zone….and lovin’ it!
Hey Essaytch!! I didn’t realize you were in Seattle - and now you are working downtown? Well you know, the project I am working on is currently under construction and I fly up there every week - there will be a few more times that I”ll be staying the night, and I’d love to catch up with you after work or something!!!!

The project I am working on is on Fairview and Denny way in the South Lake Union area - perhaps you’ll see it - there are two cranes on the site and the project is called ‘Mirabella’ - its a huge ass building and has taken over my life - coming up to 2 years on this project…and it will be another year till its done - so that means more trips to Seattle!!! 
I usally stay at or near Hotel Max, there are some great restaurants around there and things. So, I can let you know the next time I’ll have an overnighters and perhaps we can get togheter?!?! Congrats on the new job! You’ll love being downtown!!!

Hi Essaytch! I found you today through Miriam’s blog, and I thought I’d say hi! I moved from Seattle to DC about a year ago, and reading your entries makes me all nostalgic … thanks for the distraction, and I’ll be back!
