It’s been a while since I wrote a letter…
June 17, 2008Dear Partner Whose Expenses I Submit,
When it comes to keeping your receipts, you are a superstar, the best in the biz! You even keep the ones you don’t need to keep, and for that I am eternally grateful. For the most part, despite your constant globe hopping, I can keep up with you, no sweat–of course, I never know what time zone you’re in, but that’s neither here nor there (well, I guess it’s more there than anything).
But I gotta say, I’m going to need your help with these:
Cause this is all Greek to me!
Faithfully Yours, etc….

HA! Yes, I think there could be a rosetta stone for those slips of paper.
All Greek! You are so funny.
The first one was a taxi from the Athens Airport to his hotel for FORTY euros (he got WAY screwed, I’ve taken that route from the same cab company for less than 25 euros).
The second are the pair of receipts from his meal at the Airport Cafeteria. For 31 euros. He bought three meals and 15 euros worth of “snacks”…that’s awesome.
Let me just say “HOLY SHIT” does this guy know how to expense. If he’s traveling alone and hits that kind of tab, you guys MUST be in the tax and finance business…
You have exceeded the length of the tether chord to your harness. I’m reeling you back in. Where did you go?
